TERRY J. BERGIN

Born and raised in the county of San Mateo, CA. Terry J. Bergin, Sacramento based paralegal has been serving the public in the preparation of legal documents since 1989. He is a registered Legal Document Assistant and is registered/bonded with the county under LDA 2001-11 and 02-001, expiration December, 2025.

Mr.Bergin graduated from the Juniper Serra High School and furthered his education at the College of San Mateo, CA. Mr. Bergin opened his first low-cost legal clinic in Sacramento, CA. in 1989. He has vast experience in the legal field specializing in Bankruptcy, Family Law, Wills, Adoptions, Living Trusts and Modifications. Over the years, Mr. Bergin and his team have successfully filed thousands of cases. They provide excellent self-help services for the public and also assist Attorney Gregory J. Smith in his bankruptcy law practice.

After opening his first office in Sacramento, Mr. Bergin saw the need for quality legal assistance across counties. This led to the opening of more offices for more clients. Within 3 years he opened 9 new offices offering quality legal assistance throughout the State of California. Offices were located in Roseville, South Sacramento, Fairfield, Modesto, Stockton, Hayward, Daly City, San Jose and San Mateo. Over the years we sold a majority of the offices and are now focusing on Sacramento, Placer, and El Dorado County locations. We have successfully filed over 10,000 cases and have an excellent relationship within the court system.

JACK BERGIN

Jack Bergin was born and raised in the foothills of El Dorado County. Jack Bergin attended Ponderosa High School in Shingle Springs, CA. participating in Track and Field events and graduated from Ponderosa High School in 2016. In July 2018, an opportunity came available at Affordable Legal Assistance as a Legal Document Assistance. After completing the 2 year training program, Jack specializes in Family Law, Living Trusts and assisting Attorney Gregory J Smith with the intake and preparation of Chapter 7 Bankruptcies. Jack and his team currently handle cases throughout the counties in Northern California.
